Offset’s newest project, Haunted By Fame, has taken an unexpected turn in his career. For the first time, one of his solo albums did not make it onto the Billboard 200.
The album sold just under 8,000 units during its first week of release, a steep decline from KIARI, his previous record that arrived less than two months earlier and debuted with 29,000 units.
Across eleven tracks, Haunted By Fame brings in features from NoCap, NBA YoungBoy, and Lil Dump. The most-streamed song so far is “I HEARD,” a collaboration with NBA YoungBoy that has drawn more than 900,000 plays on Spotify.
Offset says he released ‘HAUNTED BY FAME’ just to get out of his deal after the project sold under 8K and missed the Billboard 200

Despite the modest numbers, the release wasn’t set up for a major commercial run. Offset quietly dropped the project, with no singles, a marketing campaign, or advance notice to fans.
He then hopped on social media to seemingly address the low sales.
“Mixtape to get out my deal lol” he wrote.
