Atlanta rapper Offset is reportedly sinking deeper into debt, owing the IRS more than $2.3 million.
Offset is facing serious financial pressure as his unpaid tax bills continue to pile up. The rapper, whose real name is Kiari Cephus, was recently hit with another lien from the IRS, adding nearly half a million dollars to his growing debt.
On October 15, the IRS filed a new claim against Offset for $486,426.35 in unpaid 2023 taxes. The filing comes less than a year after his separation from Cardi B, 33.
The latest action follows two earlier liens. In April 2024, the IRS accused him of owing $1,575,266.73 in taxes from 2022. And in March 2024, the Georgia Department of Revenue filed a lien tied to a 2021 bill that began at $167,916 but grew to nearly $292,000 due to interest, penalties, and collection fees.
Altogether, Offset’s three known liens now total $2,353,692. None of the liens has been released, according to public records.
Cardi B recently spoke out about her decision to finally walk away from the father of her three children.
