The charismatic cancer survivor, Farooq Oreagba, has once again stolen the show at the Ojude Oba (King’s Court) Festival,, solidifying his moniker as the king of steeze with his show-stoppong appearance.
Oreagba who is the Executive Director of NG Clearing Limited, became the star of last year’s edition of the age-long festival with his regal attire and confident horseback entrance, a symbol of personal triumph and cultural pride, with his image going viral across social and traditional media.
He returned this year to the
iconic Yoruba cultural celebration with the same effortless steeze and magnetic presence that set the internet on fire, reclaiming his unofficial crown as the festival’s undisputed style icon.
As the king of syeeze, Oreagba  raised the bar even higher, arriving in a regal brown aso-oke agbada and sokoto, paired with eye-catching silver jewellery, a bold Cuban link chain, and a majestic gold staff topped with a lion sceptre.
His signature elements—tattoos, designer sunglasses, a statement pipe, and a luxury wristwatch—completed the iconic look that once again had social media buzzing.
Ojude Oba is an ancient festival, celebrated by the Yoruba people of Ijebu-Ode, a major town in Ogun State. The annual festival usually takes place the third day after Eid al-Kabir (Ileya), to pay homage and show respect to the paramount ruler—Awujale of Ijebuland.
