WATCH THE VIDEO HERE THE governor of Ondo State, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has approved the employment of 1,010 teachers for secondary schools across the state. This follows the completion of the recruitment process by the Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM), which screened thousands of applicants last year. The governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Ebenezer Adeniyan, revealed in a statement, that the list of successful candidates will be published online today. Additionally, the names will be displayed at TESCOM headquarters and zonal offices across the state starting tomorrow. Adeniyan advised successful candidates to begin their documentation immediately. To address the shortage of teachers in public schools, Aiyedatiwa had previously approved the recruitment of 1,000 secondary school teachers and another 1,000 for primary schools. “While the final list for secondary school candidates was approved by the governor on Friday, the recruitment process for primary school teachers is in its final stages,” Adeniyan added.
