President Bola Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Policy Communication, Daniel Bwala, on Wednesday criticised former Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi over his position on a one-term presidency.
Bwala described Obi’s one-term presidency vow as the latest “scam-phrase.”
Posting on X, Bwala claimed that one of Obi’s former handlers said he is suffering from an identity crisis.
He wrote: “Breaking: ‘Peter Obi is suffering from identity crisis’ This words came from one of his 2023 presidential election handlers
“His latest scam-phrases is ‘I will do a one term.’”
Obi had sparked controversy over the weekend when he reiterated his long-standing position on serving only one term as president.
“It is within this context that I reiterate my vow: I will serve only one term of four years if elected President. And that vow is sacrosanct,” he had said.
