The first One UI 7 beta is just around the corner, and leaks surrounding Samsung’s revamped custom skin are pouring in nonstop. Recently, a tipster shared images of the OS running on a Galaxy S25 Ultra, confirming some of the changes. Now, a leak offers screenshots with a closer look at the new icons and UI of some of the One UI 7.0 apps.

One UI 7 aims to be the biggest aesthetic change seen in the OS in years. Samsung is redesigning its app icons, UI, and animations. The latest leak, courtesy of Gerwin van Giessen, shows some of the changes to both the icons and interface of the Samsung Reminder, Calendar, Voice Recorder, and Calculator apps.

Leaked screenshots with new icons and UI of some One UI 7.0 apps

The new icons for Samsung Reminder and Samsung Calendar are a bet on minimalism. It’s not that the previous icons were clunky, but the new version offers a slightly cleaner and more modern look.

As for the new app UI, Calendar seems to have received the biggest changes. Samsung is offering more customization capabilities to widgets by allowing you to change their background and shape. You can also set more colors for full-screen alarms and reminders.

Samsung has brought the minimalism approach to the UI of its Voice Recorder app. The South Korean giant has repositioned some options and items. In the list of recordings, the time and date are now visible on the left side. To the right of the file, you’ll find the circular playback button. The screenshots also include a look at the description of the updated Calculator app in One UI 7.0. However, there are no images available of the new UI.

Calendar and Voice Recorder available for download

Interestingly, the updated Samsung Calendar and Voice Recorder APKs are available for download. One UI’s 6 Auto Blocker feature may complicate the installation process a bit, so it’s recommended to disable it. You can do so from Settings > Security and Privacy. It’s noteworthy that you may still see the old icons after installing the app. It looks like the new icon design will appear on devices running One UI 7.

The source of the leak has access to the APK files for all One UI 7 apps. He asserts that he has uploaded all the One UI 7 apps to APK Mirror, yet most of them are still awaiting approval. APK Mirror is a trusted repository where apps undergo review before being made available. However, if you’re still wary of sideloading apps downloaded from outside official stores, you can wait a couple of weeks to enroll in the first One UI 7 beta and get access to the new apps.
