Ongoing APC e-registration will sanitise party in Cross River – Deputy Gov, Odey

Peter Odey

Deputy Governor of Cross River State, Dr Peter Odey has noted that the ongoing e-registration will significantly sanitise membership of the national ruling party.

He stated this Thursday, in his office when he revalidated his membership of the All Progressives Congress, APC, and reaffirmed his unwavering loyalty to the party and its progressive ideals.

He said the initiative would deepen internal democracy and ensure that only genuine and committed members drive the party’s affairs.

Commending President Bola Tinubu for approving the e-registration, he noted that the integration of National Identification Numbers (NIN), Voter Cards, and APC membership cards into the process would also enhance credibility, transparency, and accountability.

He called on APC members and supporters across the state to fully embrace the exercise, describing it as a strategic step toward building a stronger, data-driven, and election-ready party structure, while encouraging them to obtain digital certification as verified members of the APC.

According to him, the APC is a strong, progressive political movement with the capacity to reposition Cross River State and Nigeria for long-term growth, urging stakeholders at all levels to work collectively in strengthening party structures ahead of future political engagements.

Odey charged party members, supporters, and the people of Cross River State to close ranks and intensify their support for Governor Sen. Prince Bassey Edet Otu and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, stressing that the APC remains the only credible platform capable of delivering sustained development, economic stability, and inclusive governance at both state and national levels.
