Hon. Ononiwu Moses has raised serious concern over the monumental suffering being experienced by many Nigerians.
He stated this while addressing youths in Owerri Zion, the Imo State capital recently.
According to him, the level of hardship in the country is worrying and calls for urgent attention from leaders at all levels.
He said many families are struggling daily to survive, and this suffering should not be ignored.
While speaking to the youths, Hon. Ononiwu Moses urged them to remain peaceful at all times. He advised them not to allow anger, frustration, or hardship to push them into violence or division.
The Philanthropist stressed that peace is very important for development and progress. According to him, violence only destroys communities and delays solutions to the problems facing the people.
Hon. Ononiwu Moses also encouraged the youths to embrace unity and love for one another. He said unity is strength and that when youths stand together in peace, their voices will be heard more clearly, reminding them that Nigeria belongs to everyone and that positive change can only come when people work together, regardless of background or differences.
As part of his commitment to supporting the people, Hon. Ononiwu Moses shared bags of rice with the youths who visited him.
The gesture was warmly received, as many of the youths expressed gratitude for his kindness and concern. He explained that the sharing of rice was a way to support those affected by the current hardship and to show that leaders should care for the people.
Ononiwu promised to distribute a total of 4,000 bags of rice to widows, orphanage children, and youths across Owerri Zion and Imo State.
He said the distribution would be fair and inclusive, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to benefit. According to him, no group will be left out, and everyone will be a partaker in the 4,000 bags of rice initiative.
Ononiwu called on other leaders and well-meaning individuals to support the poor and vulnerable. He said that caring for widows, orphans, and youths is a shared responsibility.
He reaffirmed his commitment to peace, unity, and the welfare of the people, expressing hope for a better and more united Nigeria.
