After teasers, OPPO has introduced the OPPO A3 Pro, the company’s next phone in the A series in China, as the successor to last year’s A2 Pro. It packs a 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz curved OLED screen, is powered by Dimensity 7050 SoC with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage, similar to the predecessor.
The phone has IP69, IP68, and IP66 ratings for dust and water resitance, first in the segment, making it resistant to hot water, water immersion and water spray.
The phone has 360° anti-fall body, and uses Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection for the screen that is seen only in flagships, says the company.
The anti-fall performance is 180% higher than the screen protection glass of products in the same range; the back cover uses the first OPPO Crystal Shield Glass, the anti-fall ability is 160% higher than the protective glass of mobile phones of the same grade, the company adds.
The phone has a 64MP rear camera along with a 2MP depth sensor and packs a 5000mAh battery with 67W fast charging that can charge up to 56% in 20 minutes and 100% in 42 minutes.

The OPPO A3 Pro comes in Azure (Glass), Mountain Blue (Leather) and Yunjin Pink (Leather) colours and is priced at 1,999 yuan (USD 276 / Rs. 23,490 approx.) 8GB + 256GB, 2199 yuan (USD 303 / Rs. 25,820 approx.) for 12GB + 256GB and the top-end 12GB + 512GB model costs 2499 yuan (USD 345 / Rs. 29,345 approx.).
It is already available to order and will go on sale in China starting from April 19th.
