Nigerian artist Oritse Femi comes to the defense of his fellow musician Wizkid after his controversial comments, specifically calling out Don Jazzy as an influencer.
After Wizkid took to Twitter to poke fun at some of his peers, including Don Jazzy, Oritse Femi stepped in to clarify the term “influencer.”
He explained that an influencer is someone who is well-known and skilled in certain areas.
Oritse Femi expressed his support for being labeled an influencer, emphasizing that there is no shame in having that title.
He wrote:
“If someone called you an influencer It means you are well known and have a unique skills In you that others don’t have and that makes them run to you so you can influence them with it …. I see nothing wrong if someone called you an influencer, abi the word influencer na bad thing ni ?….. A Content creator and an influencer no be the same thing o.. And who’s a content creator without an influencer? So my dear…. Influencer na big name na una dey look am less less”
