SUPER Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has reached an agreement on personal terms with Galatasaray, reports have claimed.
The Nigeria international has been the subject of intense speculation all summer regarding his next move after falling out with current employers Napoli.
Now, the 26-year-old has agreed to remain at Galatasaray, where he had a successful loan spell last season, according to reports today.
Osimhen agreed personal terms with the Turkish giants for a deal until 2028, according to European transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
However, both Osimhen and Galatasaray are awaiting the approval of Napoli to finalise the deal, with the Serie A champions yet to accept the €55 million offer from the Turkish Super Lig champions.
Napoli have set Osimhen’s release clause at €75m for non-Italian clubs, and only Saudi Arabia’s Al Hilal are willing to cough up that much at the moment, according to reports.
Al Hilal are believed to still be in the race for the Super Eagles star even after he rejected three huge offers from the most successful club in Saudi Arabia.
Osimhen has become a cult hero at Galatasaray after his excellent loan spell, during which he registered 37 goals and six assists in 41 appearances in all competitions as the club won the Super Lig and Turkish Cup double.
