Osun People Enjoying Good Governance Under My Administration – Adeleke

Adeleke gov

The Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke has downplayed fresh criticism from the opposition, insisting that Osun residents have enjoyed steady progress under his leadership over the past three years.

Naijaonpoint reports that the governor, through his spokesperson Mallam Olawale Rasheed, in a statement on Sndasaid the state has recorded wide development in key areas.

He said that new roads, renovated schools, upgraded health centres and support for workers and pensioners show that the government is paying attention to the needs of the people.

He also stated that these efforts have restored hope and improved economic prospects across Osun.

He argued that the opposition is refusing to accept the growth taking place in the state.

According to him, those attacking his administration should remember their own time in office, which he said left many residents in pain.

He urged the public not to be carried away by their comments.

The governor’s spokesperson also said the present administration has cleared old salary debts, improved career progression for workers and introduced wider healthcare coverage.

He added that new bridges and major road projects are linking communities, while public schools are being renewed.

He further mentioned that the government bought 31 tractors to support farmers, a step he said the previous administration failed to take for years.

Rasheed dismissed the recent assessment by Sunday Akere, describing it as faulty and not worth considering.

He maintained that those condemning the government are only recalling the failures of their own period in power.

He also rejected the claims made by the Osun Masterminds group, saying the group is being used by the opposition and is spreading misleading stories.

He accused individuals within the group of pushing personal interests rather than speaking the truth.

The statement added that governance in Osun is ongoing and will not stop because of political games ahead of 2026.

The governor called on residents to stay vigilant and not be misled by those who want to use them for selfish gains.
