A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Hon. Wale Adedoyin has declared his intention to contest for the House of Representatives seat representing Ijesa South Federal Constituency.

According to the statement, the declaration was made while addressing party leaders and stakeholders at the residence of Ijesa South leader, Elder Kunle Odeyemi.
Hon. Adedoyin extolled the leadership and visionary policies of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, describing him as a committed reformer whose Renewed Hope Agenda is repositioning Nigeria for sustainable growth and development.
He also commended His Excellency, Adegboyega Oyetola, for his steadfast leadership, loyalty to the party, and immense contributions to the growth and stability of the APC in Osun State.
Hon. Adedoyin used the occasion to charge all APC leaders, stakeholders, and members across Ijesa South and Osun State to embrace unity, discipline, and collective responsibility, stressing that unity remains the party’s strongest weapon for electoral success.
He urged party members to work tirelessly toward the victory of Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO), emphasizing that a united APC is poised to reclaim and consolidate power for the benefit of the people.
According to him, “This is a moment that calls for solidarity and selfless service. Together, we will deliver victory and good governance to our people.”

Hon. Afilaka (Atakumosa East), and
Hon. J.B. Adagunodo (Ilesa West)
commended Hon. Wale Adedoyin for the bold step of declaring his ambition at an early stage.
They admonished him to remain focused, stressing that the victory of the APC and Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO) is the most crucial priority at this time.
The leaders noted that Hon.Adedoyin is well known for his loyalty and sacrifices for party supremacy, stating that he has remained more steadfast and active in the party since the party lost election in 2022 .
They further acknowledged that his aspiration for the House of Representatives is long overdue, prayed for him, and wished him success in his quest to become the next Member of the House of Representatives for Ijesa South Federal Constituency.
