The outgoing governor made the disclosure while speaking at the EdoBEST National Results-Sharing Session in Abuja. Obaseki said that he has nothing to hide and is focused on showcasing his administration’s achievements. “I’m not afraid of the EFCC. Why should I be? What is important is focus,” Obaseki stated. “I came into office and ignored the noise, concentrating on what I felt was important, and today you can see the results.” He reassured that if the EFCC requires his presence, he will “hand myself over” without hesitation.
