A member of the National Youth Service Corps identified as Jennifer Edema Elohor,    has been beaten and stripped naked by some men attached to the Operation Udo Ga-Achi also known as the Agunechemba Vigilante Group in Anambra State.

The men were said to have stormed the NYSC members’ lodge in the state and accused Elohor and some of her colleagues of their involvement in internet fraudulent activities (Yahoo-Yahoo).

In a video trending online and shared by Haven 360 Foundation, the men who were heavily armed were captured beating the corps member.

They went further to tear her clothes while they dragged her with blood all over her body.

In the video post made on Facebook, the foundation condemned the actions of the local vigilante members.

It also said that the corps members were brutalised and subjected to humiliating and sexually degrading threats despite promptly producing their NYSC identity cards.

“We strongly condemn the brutal assault and violation of the rights of National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members by operatives of Operation Udo Ga-Achi or ‘Agunechemba Vigilante Group’ in Anambra State.

“On July 23, 2025, these state actors stormed the corpers lodge, accusing the members of being ‘Yahoo people’, despite their prompt production of NYSC identification cards and uniforms.

“The assault was particularly egregious in the case of Jennifer Edema Elohor, who was beaten, stripped naked, and left exposed and covered in blood.

“The victims were subjected to unsavoury, horrible, sexually degrading words and actions, including threats of sexual violation,” the foundation noted.
