WATCH THE VIDEO HERE OnePlus has finally started rolling out the OxygenOS 15 update to its latest tablet, the OnePlus Pad 2. The newest update for the slate is based on the latest Android 15 version. OnePlus has rolled out the new firmware for the tablet soon after updating the OnePlus 12 series phones. According to the OnePlus community website, the OnePlus Pad 2 is getting the OxygenOS 15 update in select regions. Currently, the update is rolling out in India, Europe, and global markets. The OnePlus Pad 2’s OxygenOS 15 update carries the build number OPD2403_15.0.0.201 (EX01). OnePlus is rolling out the update in a gradual manner at the moment, so not all units of the slate will get it at the same time. North American users will get the new firmware later this week, the company confirmed. Notably, OnePlus has provided a rollback option for OxygenOS 14. So you can roll back to the previous version if some of the features of your tablet stop working after the new update. Notably, OnePlus is beating the rest of the OEMs by releasing the Android 15 update to its tablet. The OnePlus Pad 2 is the first non-Pixel tablet to receive the new update. The Pad 2 is the third device from the brand after the OnePlus 12 series to get features of the latest OS. OnePlus already released the complete changelog of the new update for the OnePlus Pad 2. Some of the highlighted features include Ultra animation effects, Luminous rendering effects, Live Alerts, and Photo Editing. Unfortunately, OnePlus hasn’t yet rolled out the new AI features in this update. The company will roll out these features to its devices by the end of November.
