The Olowu of Kuta, Oba Hameed Adekunle Oyelude Makama, CON, has called for increased support for the Food Bank Initiative established by the Chief Executive Officer of Amiloaded Media Hub and Convener of the Osun Youth Ambassador Award (OYAA), Aminat Ajibola.
The monarch made the call on Sunday while unveiling the food bank initiative at the 10th edition of the Osun Youth Ambassador Award (OYAA) held in Osogbo, the capital of Osun State.


Oba Makama described the initiative as a humanitarian project designed to provide food for the less privileged without political bias or affiliation.
He stated that the Amiloaded Food Bank was established to assist individuals struggling to feed, adding that the project was a demonstration of compassion and commitment to humanity.
The traditional ruler noted that giving back to society remains one of the most noble acts of service and urged the public to support the initiative to ensure its sustainability.
He emphasized that the effort by Aminat Ajibola through the food bank aligns with the values of generosity and community service, which should be encouraged among citizens both at home and in the diaspora.
Oba Makama also acknowledged the significance of the 10th anniversary of the Osun Youth Ambassador Award, noting that the event served as a platform to launch a project that would positively impact lives across the state.
He expressed appreciation to the convener for her consistent efforts in empowering youths and uplifting vulnerable members of society through humanitarian activities.
The monarch, who was accompanied by other traditional rulers, made a cash donation on behalf of his entourage in support of the Amiloaded Food Bank Initiative.
He assured continued support for the programme, pledging sustained collaboration to promote initiatives aimed at improving the welfare of the people in Osun State.
