The Chief Executive Officer of Amiloaded Media Hub and Convener of the Osun Youth Ambassador Award (OYAA), Aminat Ajibola, has said Osun State is blessed with a new generation of young people ready to create the future.
She made this known while delivering her speech at the 10th Edition of the Osun Youth Ambassador Award held in Osogbo on Sunday.

Ajibola said the OYAA has, over the years, become a symbol of hope, excellence, and inspiration for young people in Osun State.
She explained that the ceremony was not just about distributing awards but about celebrating purpose, perseverance, and progress among youths who have chosen to rise above limitations to make positive impacts in their communities.

According to her, the initiative was established to recognize young men and women driving change through innovation, leadership, and community development.
The convener stated that each edition of the award reaffirms that the future of Osun and Nigeria rests in capable and creative hands. She added that the platform continually reminds young people that their dreams are valid and their hard work does not go unnoticed.
Ajibola noted that recognition plays a vital role in building confidence, fueling ambition, and promoting excellence among young people. She stressed that the 10th edition of OYAA aimed to celebrate individuals who continue to demonstrate courage and consistency in their chosen fields.
She described this year’s awardees as a reflection of the best of Osun, entrepreneurs creating jobs, innovators solving social problems, creatives projecting the state’s culture globally, and advocates standing up for justice and inclusion.
Ajibola called on parents to support their children’s dreams and not dismiss their ideas, emphasizing that many of the world’s greatest innovations began as unconventional thoughts.
She urged the government to strengthen education, prioritize vocational training, and sustain youth-friendly entrepreneurship programmes that would drive development across the state.
The Amiloaded CEO also appealed to the private sector to invest in youth-led businesses through mentorship, internships, and funding, noting that Osun is filled with untapped talent waiting to be harnessed.
Ajibola emphasized that Osun State is blessed with not just rich culture and history but also with a generation of youth ready to transform the state through creativity, innovation, and technology.
She expressed gratitude to all individuals, volunteers, and media partners who contributed to the success of the 10th OYAA.
Ajibola, however, appealed for sponsorship and partnership from corporate organizations, government institutions, and well-meaning individuals to support the continuation of the annual event.
She charged the awardees to wear their honours with humility and purpose, noting that they are now role models whose achievements would inspire others.
Ajibola encouraged youths to dream bigger, work harder, and refuse to settle for mediocrity, stressing that the best days of Osun State lie ahead with its vibrant and determined young population.
