WATCH THE VIDEO HERE THE Olubadan Advisory Council has relieved two Mogajis (family heads) of their positions. This decision was disclosed in a statement released today and signed by Chief Solomon Olugbemiga Ayoade, Chief Press Secretary to the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Akinloye Owolabi Olakulehin. According to the statement, the dismissal takes immediate effect. The statement, which was shared with journalists in Ibadan, Oyo State, confirmed that the action was jointly approved by the Olubadan Advisory Council and the Olubadan himself. Those affected are Chief Musilu Yekini Olaoye of the Peluseriki Compound, Isale Osi, Ibadan, and Chief Rasaki Funso Ayinde Oguntobi of the Oloola Ogungbesan Compound, Bode, Ibadan. It was further explained that their removal followed complaints from family members and other serious violations. They have also been cautioned against continuing to present themselves as Mogajis.
