Patience Ozokwo counts down to 45 years in Entertainment Industry

Veteran thespian, Patience Ozokwo has started the countdown to her 45 years in the entertainment industry.

Patience Ozokwo popularly known as Mama G shared a video on her Instagram page where she called for support.

The actress recalled how her journey of a thousand miles began with a single step such as sold out school place in the secondary school and in the teacher training college.

She urged her fans to share in her joy because she’ll be marking 45 years of God’s faithfulness.

Congratulations and support have been flowing from her fans, colleagues and friends.

Kemi Filani recalls that Patience Ozokwo penned a heartfelt note after she bagged a Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2023 9th edition of the AMVCA.

She noted how there was no social media and present-day luxury when she began her acting career and the progress was completely dependent on her talent, humility, word of mouth, and trust.

Expressing gratitude to her colleagues, she appreciated them for working tirelessly and often without recognition.

She also appreciated her family for surrounding her with love and acceptance.

Patience Ozokwo recounted how her children sacrificed a lot and stayed without a mother while she was filming.
