Former Besiktas defender Emre Eren believes Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen could soon be worth €150 million if he continues his blistering form this season, Soccernet.ng reports.

The Nigerian forward, who joined Galatasaray permanently this summer for €75 million, has taken Istanbul by storm since making his move official.

It was a surprise transfer, as the 26-year-old had long been expected to join one of Europe’s biggest clubs, with Chelsea, Manchester United, PSG, Barcelona, Liverpool, and Juventus all monitoring his progress for years.

However, Galatasaray won the race, aided by the connection Osimhen built with fans during his successful loan spell last season. The deal made him not only the most expensive signing in Galatasaray’s history but also the priciest in Turkish football altogether.

Osimhen has since justified every euro spent on him. He scored in back-to-back Champions League matches against Liverpool and Bodo/Glimt, leading Galatasaray to their first consecutive wins in the competition since 2012.

His form has also made him Nigeria’s highest-scoring player in Champions League history, a remarkable feat for a player still approaching his peak.

With six points from a possible nine, Galatasaray are now well-placed to reach the Champions League knockout rounds — and remain firm favourites to defend their Super Lig title for a fourth straight year.

Emre Eren about Victor Osimhen: ‘They would pay €150 million for this guy!’

Emre Eren, now a pundit in Turkey, is convinced that Osimhen’s rise has only just begun.

“Victor Osimhen is a completely different player,” Eren said in an interview shared on X.

“If Osimhen continues with this performance this season, if he keeps reflecting these qualities on the field, in the Champions League… They would pay 150 million euros for this guy!”

At 26, Osimhen is entering his prime years, and his dominance in Turkey and Europe has reignited talk of a potential big-money move.

Despite adding new attackers in the summer, Chelsea are still believed to be searching for a top-class centre-forward.

Barcelona, meanwhile, reportedly see Osimhen as a long-term successor to Robert Lewandowski, while Manchester United continue to struggle for goals. Juventus are also keen but may be restricted by clauses in Osimhen’s Galatasaray deal.

Osimhen, though, looks happy for now in Istanbul and Galatasaray are reaping the rewards of their boldest transfer ever. If Eren’s prediction comes true, the Turkish giants could soon boast the €150 million man of Europe.
