A coalition of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) groups in Chugwi Ward, Jos-South LGA, has commended Gov. Caleb Mutfwang for his developmental achievements.

A coalition of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) groups in Chugwi Ward, Jos-South LGA, has commended Gov. Caleb Mutfwang for his developmental achievements.
Mr Bitrus Dido, leader of the coalition, gave the commendation during a PDP event in the ward on Sunday.
Dido said initiatives introduced by Mutfwang across different sectors had accelerated growth and placed Plateau State on the path of steady development.
He urged the governor to contest again in 2027, stressing that his policies were gradually lifting Plateau residents out of poverty.
According to Dido, the governor has excelled in road infrastructure, education, transportation, agriculture, rural electrification, and other critical sectors.
“We, the coalition of PDP groups in Chugwi Ward, reaffirm our solidarity and deepest appreciation to Governor Mutfwang for his remarkable transformation of the state,” he said.
He added: “We are proud to identify with our dynamic governor whose people-centred leadership is anchored on transparency, inclusiveness, accountability, and service to humanity.”
He further noted that in two years, the governor had matched words with action, turning campaign promises into visible achievements across sectors of the economy.
Dido thanked Mutfwang for appointing Chugwi sons and daughters into government and pledged continuous support for the administration’s success.
He also appreciated the governor for executing projects in the community, saying they had helped to reduce infrastructure deficits in the area.
“On these grounds, we are pledging our support for Governor Mutfwang and his deputy, Mrs Josephine Piyo, to contest again in 2027,” he said.
Responding, Dr Gyang Bere, Director of Press and Public Affairs to the governor, thanked the Chugwi community for their support.
Bere, a native of the community, said the Mutfwang-led administration remained committed to improving the welfare of Plateau people.
He urged the community to continue praying and cooperating with the governor and his deputy to deliver more democratic dividends across the state. (NAN) (www.nannews.ng)
