The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has officially announced the dates for its 101st National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting, scheduled to take place over three days from Wednesday, July 23 to Friday, July 25, 2025.
This was contained in a statement signed by the PDP National Publicity Secretary, Hon. Debo Ologunagba, and shared on X on Tuesday.
According to the statement, the meeting will be held at the party’s National Secretariat and it is expected to start at 2:00 pm daily.
The PDP said the meeting is in line with its internal processes and a reminder has been issued to all members of the NEC as outlined in Section 31(1) of the party’s Constitution (as amended in 2017).
“The National Chairman, serving and former Presidents and Vice Presidents of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (if they are members of the Party), the Chairman and Secretary of the Board of Trustees (BoT), and all other BoT members are expected to attend,” the statement noted.
Also invited are principal officers of the National Assembly who are PDP members including not more than 18 serving Senators and 24 House of Representatives members from across the country, all PDP governors, all National Officers of the Party, state chairmen, six ex-officio members, and other former key office holders who are still members of the party.
