WATCH THE VIDEO HERE The Minority Leader of the Jigawa State House of Assembly, Yahaya Zakari Kwarko, has officially defected from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP to the All Progressives Congress, APC. He said his decision was driven by what he described as the exemplary leadership style of Governor Umar Namadi. According to him “I have carefully observed the leadership direction of His Excellency Governor Namadi and I am convinced that aligning with the APC will enable me to better serve my constituents,” Kwarko declared on the floor of the House.
