According To Our Reporter, Chief Niyi Aborisade, ADC governorship candidate in Oyo State, has confidently predicted a major upset in the 2027 elections as the PDP struggles with deep internal crises.
Speaking in Ibadan, Aborisade highlighted the rising influence of the ADC, boosted by defections from prominent figures like Peter Obi, reflecting Nigerians’ hunger for credible alternatives.
He sharply criticized the PDP, saying its prolonged leadership disputes have weakened the party’s structure and eroded public trust, prompting mass defections in Oyo State.
“The crisis within the PDP has weakened its structure. Many members have realized it no longer offers a credible platform for political growth and good governance, which is why they are moving to the ADC,” Aborisade said.
He stressed that the ADC’s growing strength stems from attracting these disillusioned leaders and voters, positioning it to “shock naysayers” and take control in 2027.
