Faithia Williams, a Nollywood actress, caused a commotion online when she referred to herself by her old marital name, Balogun.
The actress, who lost her beloved father at the age of 80 last week, took to Instagram to share a message with her admirers and followers. She apologized for her brief social media hiatus and pledged to return stronger.
Faithia thanked them for their support and promised to reveal news of her father’s burial shortly.
She surprised many when she addressed herself as Faithia Williams Balogun, her old married title.
