While his twin brother is celebrating his wife’s birthday, Nigerian singer Peter Okoye is celebrating his son’s 17th birthday.

Sharing a video collage of the celebrant on his Instagram page, he described him as his champ and expressed how proud he is of him. Peter told his son to keep shining, winning, and chasing his dreams.

The second half of Psquare promised to always be behind him and told him that the future is his.

“Happy Birthday to my champ! @cameronokoye10 Keep shining, keep winning. I’m proud of you always!
Keep chasing your dreams, son; I’ll always be behind you 100%. The future is yours—go claim it!”.

His wife, Lola, had earlier written a note to him, describing him as a true blessing in her life and expressing gratitude for the light he brings into the world. The mother of two gave him some advice, telling him to listen to her even when she is tough.

While Peter and his wife are celebrating their son’s birthday, his twin brother, Paul Okoye, is celebrating his wife’s birthday. The couple, at the time of reporting, haven’t acknowledged Ifeoma’s birthday, and we doubt they would, because the couple is fond of Paul’s ex-wife, Anita Okoye.

A day back, Peter had traded words with a troll who admonished him to kill pride and reconcile with his twin brother.

On his Twitter page, a while back, Peter, while responding to a tweep, announced the end of their band. Peter made it known that there is no Psquare anymore; he is his own Square. He said that Jude and Paul are the new Psquare and urged Nigerians to manage them.

Months back, Peter threw a subtle shade at his family as he sent a message to the general public, stating that one shouldn’t allow family to be the reason they’re drowning in silence. He noted how he did for over 20 years, and it cost me everything. Peter noted how love doesn’t manipulate, loyalty doesn’t betray, and family doesn’t steal from you.

Recall that in 2023, Psquare had fallen out again because of the joint funds being diverted by their elder brother, Jude Okoye.

Peter, noted how Paul, rather than joining forces with him to reclaim their number one spot in the music industry, chose to team up with their elder brother, Jude, to marginalise and humiliate him.
