Peter Rosenberg is weighing in on the trajectory of Drake’s career, claiming that recent decisions could have lasting consequences for the superstar’s legacy.
During a recent episode of The Ebro Laura Rosenberg Show, Rosenberg and co-host Ebro Darden discussed Drake’s involvement in a lawsuit tied to the gambling platform Stake, which also names streamer Adin Ross.
The lawsuit alleges that Stake misrepresented its gambling practices and claims Drake and Ross were paid to promote the platform. It also accuses the company of using internal systems to artificially boost Drake’s music, allegations that have not been proven in court.
“I couldn’t agree more,” Rosenberg said. “Everyone will think we sincerely want his downfall. Part of the reason I’ve been so angry and annoyed about Drake’s moves is because he is ruining his legacy.”
Rosenberg went on to say the rapper is “damaging himself in ways that will become impossible to get up from,” suggesting Drake’s reputation is beginning to spiral downwards.
“There’s the real world view, and there’s the view of your obsessed stans who think everything you do is gold,” he said. “The real world view of him is changing in real time, and it’s not good.”
