Vice President Kashim Shettima on Tuesday in Abuja opened the PPP Summit on behalf of President Tinubu.

Shettima said the Federal Government would fast-track approvals for viable projects.

The VP wrote in a social media post:

“On behalf of my boss, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, I today declared open the 2025 Nigeria Public-Private Partnership Summit, held at the State House Conference Centre, Presidential Villa, Abuja.

“Delivering the President’s message, I restated our administration’s determination to fast-track approvals for viable infrastructural projects across the country, as what matters most to the average Nigerian is the availability of basic infrastructure — such as power, roads, healthcare facilities, and quality schools.

“Accordingly, I called for a more robust public-private sector partnership that prioritises innovation, efficiency, commitment, and integrity over mere capital and investment.

“I also urged private sector partners to remain focused and deeply committed, noting that Nigeria offers scale, demand, and returns unmatched by any other market on the African continent.”
