A host of dignitaries stormed Abuja over the weekend to attend the traditional wedding ceremony of the son of former Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi.

Naijaonpoint reports that Chikamkpa traditionally married his bride, Anita, at a colourful ceremony in Abuja on Saturday.

The event attracted several high-profile personalities from the political and business worlds.

Some of the dignitaries who attended the wedding ceremony included the 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, former Minister of Labour, Chris Ngige, former governor of Imo state, Emeka Ihedioha, former governor of Sokoto state, Aminu Tambuwal, and the 2023 Rivers gubernatorial candidate for the All Progressives Congress (APC), Tonye Cole.

The father of the groom, Amaechi, took to his official account on Monday to share pictures from the wedding ceremony and express his appreciation to all those who attended the event.

He wrote with the caption, “It was a beautiful ceremony. I’m thankful to all who showed up to celebrate with us. Proud father, now father-in-law.”
