WATCH THE VIDEO HERE Since the Pixel 8 series, Google has been implementing AI in its Pixel phones to enable new features that weren’t possible before. Image generation services like Pixel Studio are among the leading representatives of the AI era. Now, Pixel Studio has received the 1.4 update that adds powerful AI sticker creation capabilities, in addition to Gboard integration. Google had a few secrets up its sleeve regarding the upcoming Pixel Studio update. The December 2024 Feature Drop changelog only mentioned that the app would receive integration with Gboard. This was already pretty cool on its own, as you would now have the option to generate AI-powered images at any time while typing. However, the update goes further and takes sticker creation to the next level. As spotted by 9to5Google, the Pixel Studio 1.4 update includes a new “Stickers” tab under the “My projects” option. Upon accessing it, you’ll notice an option named “Create a sticker” that draws on the power of Gen AI to unleash your creativity. After the update, Pixel Studio offers two options for creating stickers. You can choose between “Make one from an existing photo” and “Describe your sticker.” The latter works just like many other AI-powered image generation platforms. That is, the app will show you a text box where you can type a prompt to describe in detail the output you’re looking for. All the stickers you create will be available alongside the default ones in Pixel Studio’s “Stickers” tab. From there, you can view them or even delete the ones you don’t like. Google is also including “Style suggestions” for image creation in a Pixel Studio server-side improvement. The list of styles you can apply to your generated images includes freestyle, 3D cartoon, video game, cinematic, sketch, anime, sticker art, claymation, crochet, watercolor, construction paper, vector art, and patches. Lastly, Pixel Studio 1.4 brought the long-promised integration with Gboard. After the update, you’ll see a new “Pixel Studio” option in the keyboard’s Stickers tab. You can start creating new AI-powered stickers just by tapping on the “Add” button.Pixel Studio 1.4 can generate AI-powered stickers
