As Halloween approaches and October comes to a close, the November additions to PlayStation Plus have been revealed. Most notably, they include what was once a PlayStation console exclusive and a stand-out of its release year. PS Plus Subscribers also have until November 3 to claim the October monthly games.
Three new games are being made available to PS Plus Essential, Extra, and Premium subscribers: Stray, EA Sports WRC 24, and Totally Accurate Battle Simulator. These three newcomers become available for download on November 4, and can be claimed until December 1, per the PlayStation Blog announcement.
PS Plus October 2025 Monthly Games Announced: Stray, EA Sports WRC 24, & Totally Accurate Battle Simulator
Available November 4
Stray was a breakout hit in 2022 when it first released on PS4, PS5, and PC. It has since come to many other platforms, but remains a must-play for adventure game fans (and cat lovers, of course). It’s a relatively short and charming tale of a cat who becomes lost in a cyberpunk city populated only by robots and which is suffering from spreading bacteria. Platforming, puzzles, and scratching furniture abound.
WRC 24 is Electronic Arts’ official companion game to the FIA World Rally Championship. Developer Codemasters has a lot of experience with rally car video games, and WRC has seen a significant amount of support since it was first released in 2023. WRC 24 is specifically an expansion to the 2023 title, though the PlayStation Blog post makes it clear that the full game, with modes like Career, Time Trial, and Multiplayer, is included.
Totally Accurate Battle Simulator – TABS for short – is a wacky strategy game that relies almost entirely on manipulating its wobbly physics. A campaign tests your strategy and management skills, while a sandbox mode lets you run wild with the game’s physics engine, including creating your own new unit types.
October’s PlayStation Plus Games Have A Bit Of Everything
Variety Is The Spice Of Gaming
PlayStation Plus remains effectively compulsory for anyone hoping to play their console online, but the service still manages to consistently deliver fun games at no additional cost. I personally recommend Stray very highly; its adorable cat gameplay is buoyed by a genuinely incredible atmosphere and a very touching story.
WRC and TABS help bring a lot of variety to the service, and the latter will hopefully put a spotlight on a potentially under-the-radar indie game. These three titles will kick off November, but the new Game Catalog additions for Extra and Premium subscribers will provide more games to try on PlayStation Plus roughly halfway through the month.
