The Nigeria Police Force has officially responded to a viral video showing armed officers chasing Nollywood actress Angela Okorie while she was jogging. The footage, which sparked outrage on social media, prompted a swift reaction from police authorities.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, the Force Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi, condemned the officers’ conduct, saying it fell short of the standards expected of members of the NPF. He stressed that such actions could damage public trust.
