To catch you up, a recently leaked unboxing video of a 14-inch M4 MacBook Pro has already provided some key details of the upgraded hardware. Now, it seems Apple could launch the new M4 Macs as early as next week.

Mark Gurman hints Apple could launch M4 Macs next week

The news comes via the popular Apple Insider, Mark Gurman, who recently took to his X account to give a precise launch timeframe for the M4 MacBooks. In a recent post on X, Gurman writes “Busy week for Apple next week: Apple Intelligence on Monday, then M4 Mac launch, then earnings results on Thursday.”

As you can see a part of ... reads “M4 Mac Launch.” This suggests that the new MacBooks powered by M4 chips could land as soon as next week. Let’s not forget that Gurman didn’t mention the exact dates for the launch of the M4 Macs.

In another post, Gurman mentioned that Apple is inviting journalists and content creators for a hands-on experience next Wednesday in Los Angeles. Therefore, he believes Apple might announce the new M4 Macs next week, before Wednesday.

A new Mac Mini with two front-facing USB-C ports might be also coming

In related news, a popular leaker Sonny Dickson has claimed that a new Mac Mini might be coming this week. It is worth noting that the new Mac Mini might come with M4 and M4 Pro chip options and two front-facing USB-C ports as well. Since Dickson’s hardware-related claims have been inaccurate in the past, we recommend taking this information with a grain of salt.

In addition, Apple could also launch some other products including an upgraded iMac with the M4 chip. Time will tell when the Cupertino tech giant launches these products. But the recent rumors have surely hyped things up a little bit more.
