Popular Kenyan TikTok journalist The Newsguy has claimed that he has received threats from Tanzanian security agencies following his coverage of alleged human rights violations in Tanzania.

He claimed that security forces were allegedly collecting bodies from hospitals and morgues and transporting them to undisclosed locations in an attempt to cover up the extent of the violence.
“The number of dead bodies is said to be over 500,” he reported, adding that “police are going to hospitals and morgues to collect the bodies and dump them at unknown places.”
