SINGER Portable, whose real name is Habeeb Okikiola, has publicly accused his father of stealing his belongings and extorting money from his baby mamas in a video shared on Instagram on January 6, 2026.
In the passionate video, Portable claimed that his father took all of his shoes and clothes while aggressively pursuing his properties. He further alleged that his father had access to the phone numbers of his baby mamas and repeatedly demanded money from them.
“You’re alive, and my life is still suffering. Whenever I have a police case, my dad never shows up for me. What is your significance in my life? You didn’t send me to school. You don’t take care of me. You don’t pay for my land,” Portable expressed, revealing his anger over years of neglect and exploitation.
The singer emphasised that his success came without any support from his father, stating that he struggled alone before achieving fame.
He also accused his father of financially cheating him on building projects, claiming that inflated costs were presented to him: “When I wanted to build a house and I asked him to handle it, he always cheated me. A block that should cost N300,000, he would call N900,000,” he said.
Portable directly compared his father to the late singer Mohbad’s dad, referencing the 2023 disputes surrounding Mohbad’s estate. “You are just like Baba Mohbad; you are always wearing my shoes and clothes. You can never inherit from me. I will not allow you to do to me what they did to Mohbad,” he stated.
He concluded the video by demanding that his father leave him alone, insisting that he would no longer tolerate what he described as scams and exploitation.
