The online spat between Nigerian singer Portable and Nollywood actress Laide Bakare doesn’t seem to be ending anytime soon.
Laide, via her Instagram page, had shared a video of her addressing those pleading on Portable’s behalf. She told them to stop as she noted how Portable is still misbehaving. According to her, the controversial singer needs more than he requested, and it’s time for him to collect.
“To everyone pleading on his behalf, pls stop, you can see he is not behaving. @portablebaeby needs more than he asked from me. And it is time to collect. @laide.bakarehub also deserve justice, pls”.
Flooding her comment section, Portable dragged her to filth, and accused her of trying to use him to trend.
“You just wan use me trend.
Na you go do interview say your brother na werey.
He no go better for you people wey dey enter you online. Why you no fit drag them?
Who dey come sef dey fear.
Just because you call me for show I no come.
You drag me, I drag you”.
Not stopping there, Portable took to his Instagram story, to share an audio conversation between them.
Kemi Filani reported earlier this week that Portable had posted a video claiming Laide invited him to perform at her event, but she didn’t have money to pay him.
Laide had hit back by issuing him a stern warning to avoid mentioning her name and stay clear of her business. She clarified that she has nothing to do with whatever issue he is involved in, and that it would be in his best interest to avoid mentioning her name and her family.
Ignoring her warning, Portable had boldly expressed his desire to sleep with the actress, claiming he knew she was no longer married. He accused her of inviting him to a show without paying him, mocking her for calling herself a celebrity while allegedly unable to cover basic costs.
Last year, alongside screenshots for their chat, Portable had blasted Laide after she called him a dirty boy from Sango in an interview. He made it known that he is rich enough to buy and marry her, and exposed the mother of three for making advances towards him in his DM, yet publicly demeaning him.
