Portable’s babymama Ashabi shares lovely video of her and the singer to celebrate his release from police detention

Nollywood actress Omobolarinde Akinyanju, better known as Ashabi, is celebrating her baby daddy, Portable, following his release from police detention.

Taking to her Instagram page, she shared a romantic video of herself and the singer, in which he is captured resting on her chest.

Ashabi revealed that the video had been in her draft,, and she didn’t know that the singer would change his look so soon. The movie star expressed gratitude to God for his release.

“This video dey my draft I no know say baba go change look soon, but Alhamdulilahi”.

Kemi Filani reported on Monday that the Kwara State police had arrested Portable over alleged criminal defamation against Fuji singer Saheed Osupa. He was accused of threat to life, incitement, character assassination, criminal defamation and conduct likely to cause a breach of peace and the use of abusive and insulting words.

The singer was remanded in a correctional facility after failing to meet bail conditions of N1 million and two sureties, one of whom must be the Chairman of the Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria (PMAN).

On Tuesday, Saheed Osupa had a change of heart as he withdrew his case against Portable. In a press statement, he clarified the reason for arresting the singer and revealed that he listened to heartfelt pleas from several prominent Nigerians whose names he mentioned. However, Saheed’s team gave Portable 3 conditions for his withdrawal.

While Portable was in detention, Ashabi premiered her new movie, The Deputy. The Yoruba actress was captured in viral videos making a grand entrance to her movie premiere with female bounders. Ashabi channelled her inner billionaire style as she held a walking stick and majestically walked into the venue with everyone cheering her.

Similarly, in February, when Portable was arrested by Ogun State government for conspiracy, serious assault, armed breach of public peace and attempted murder, Ashabi revealed that she was having sleepless nights and headaches. She shared a video of crying as she called on God to intervene.

On his birthday, both Ashabi and Portable’s wife, Bewaji, penned a note to him. Bewaji described him as her favourite person and rained prayers on him, while Ashabi also described him as her favorite person and called for prayers for him.
