WATCH THE VIDEO HERE The Presidency has dismissed reports that Vice President Kashim Shettima was denied access to the Presidential Villa in Abuja, describing the claims as “totally fabricated” and “mischievous.” In a statement, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Communications, Stanley Nkwocha, said the reports were aimed at misleading the public into believing there was a rift between President Bola Tinubu and his deputy. Nkwocha described the claims as “the wildest expression of wishful thinking” and accused those behind it of attempting to sow discord within the government. He assured Nigerians that Shettima remains focused on his duties and would not be distracted by false reports. The Presidency urged the public to disregard the report and encouraged journalists to verify information from credible sources, stating that no amount of falsehood would undermine the democratic mandate of the Tinubu administration. This comes after a similar rumour earlier in the week regarding campaign posters was debunked by the Presidency.
