Priscilla Ojo confirms pregnancy with maternity shoot

Priscilla Ojo, the daughter of actress Iyabo Ojo, has confirmed speculation that she is expecting her first child with Tanzanian singer Juma Jux.

On Thursday, Priscilla shared maternity pictures on Instagram, showcasing her baby bump for the first time alongside her husband. She captioned ..., “MOM & DAD BLESSED • GRATEFUL • THANKFUL.”

Rumours about Priscilla’s pregnancy started circulating before the final leg of her lavish wedding, which took place in Tanzania. Online users pointed to a viral clip where Iyabo Ojo was seen cautioning her daughter not to be “overly active,” a moment many interpreted as a subtle confirmation of the pregnancy. Despite the growing speculation, neither Priscilla nor Juma had publicly addressed the rumours until now.

The couple began their wedding journey with a Nikkah ceremony held on February 7 in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. This was followed by an intimate dinner in Lagos on February 12, where Juma proposed again and presented Priscilla with a new diamond ring in front of her family and close friends.

Their traditional and white wedding took place on April 17 in Lagos, starting with a Yoruba traditional ceremony where Priscilla dazzled in aso-oke. This was followed by a beachside white wedding, during which Priscilla wore a custom beaded gown by Veekee James, while Juma looked sharp in a tuxedo by Mai Atafo.

The wedding celebrations concluded in Tanzania on May 28 with a reception that attracted guests from East Africa. At the event, Juma surprised Priscilla with a brand-new Range Rover, leaving her visibly emotional and garnering widespread attention online.

While many congratulated the couple on their marital bliss, some fans were curious about Priscilla’s noticeable glow and her minimal public outings.

However, her close friend and media personality Enioluwa Adeoluwa had previously dismissed the rumours, stating it was the first time he had heard of any pregnancy.

With Thursday’s maternity reveal, Priscilla has officially confirmed the speculation, marking another milestone in her high-profile love story with Juma Jux.
