Tanzanian singer Juma Jux has confirmed that his wife, Priscilla Ojo, the daughter of Nollywood star Iyabo Ojo, has converted from Christianity to Islam.
In a recent interview with Afrik Media, Jux explained that Priscilla’s conversion was a gradual process guided by spirituality. “It wasn’t easy convincing her to become a Muslim. Religious leaders guided me on how to approach it with patience and prayer. Eventually, she came to understand,” he revealed.
Reflecting on their union, Jux described their wedding as a dream come true. “I had already seen it in a dream. I was fortunate to find someone who shares my vision and values,” he shared.
The couple recently held a lavish traditional wedding and has openly discussed their love journey. Jux also pledged to take care of his in-laws, Iyabo Ojo and her ex-husband, and plans to invite them to Tanzania once he and Priscilla start a family.
In a heartfelt birthday message to Priscilla on her 24th birthday in March, Jux wrote: “Since you came into my life, everything started making sense.”
