Priscilla Ojo has addressed ongoing rumours that her husband, Juma Jux’s clothing store, worth millions, was burnt by protesters.
A Twitter user, identified as Bolaji Fesomade, alleged that the singer’s clothing store, worth over N780 million, was set ablaze and completely destroyed by protesters. He claimed the violence erupted after Tanzania’s tense presidential election, which sparked chaos and unrest across several parts of the country.
“Reports from Tanzania say singer Juma Jux’s store, worth over $780 million, has been set ablaze and completely destroyed by protesters. The violence erupted after yesterday’s tense presidential election, which sparked chaos and unrest across several parts of the country”.
Setting the record straight on her Snapchat and Instagram stories, Priscilla made it known that her husband’s store was looted, not burned. She also said that God is in control.
“God is in control”.
In June, Tanzanian media personality, Mange Kimambi had warned Priscilla against posting loved-up photos and videos with her husband while they are fighting for their country as they head out for their elections. Monge advised them to wait for the next five months, when the elections are over, to resume posting content about themselves.
Reacting to it, Priscilla, via her Instagram page, shared more photos from her Tanzanian wedding with the caption, “Let’s throwback a little.
Thank God, say God no be man”.
When Juma won the Best East African Artiste of the Year award at the Headies, a Twitter user identified implied that the Tanzanian singer got married to Priscilla to gain recognition and win awards in Nigeria.
Defending him, Priscilla sarcastically said her husband got married for Nigerian recognition and the Headies Award. She affirmed that the game was the game as she gave a shout-out to Juma, whom she described as a smart, calculative, and hardworking man.
Late last year, Juma Jux won the Best Artists/Group Eastern Africa 2024 at the Jaylia Awards in Cote d’Ivoire. While receiving his award, Juma appreciated Priscilla and gushed over her.
Reacting to his win, Priscilla, stated that she loves everything about him, most importantly his kind heart. She praised him for being a kind man and congratulated him on his award.
His mother-in-law, Iyabo Ojo, had said a word of prayer for him as she prayed for him to win more.
