Pusha T has given his opinion about Drake suing UMG over Kendrick Lamar’s diss track, “Not Like Us,” and says he no longer respects him for filing paperwork.
Drake filed the defamation lawsuit after Kendrick Lamar accused him of being a “p*dophile,” on the track, after the Canadian rapper mentioned his wife and family.
“I don’t rate him no more,” Push told GQ magazine. “The suing thing is bigger than some rap s–t. I just don’t rate you. Damn, it’s like it just kind of cheapens the art of it once we gotta have real questions about suing and litigation. Like, what? For this?”
Drake and Pusha T’s feud ignited in 2018 when Pusha’s “Infrared” accused Drake of ghostwriting, prompting Drake’s “Duppy Freestyle.” Pusha retaliated with “The Story of Adidon,” revealing Drake’s secret son and using a blackface image of Drake as cover art.
Drake admitted defeat, calling it his “first loss in the competitive sport of rapping.” While Pusha has since moved on, Drake continues to take subliminal shots.
