The first wife of social media influencer and former presidential aide Reno Omokri, Tuokpe Onuwaje, has accused him of neglecting their son with special needs.

In a Facebook post on Monday seen by Naija News, Onuwaje alleged that Omokri had not seen or spent meaningful time with their son in over a year.

She claimed that parenting should be about being consistently present in a child’s life rather than showing up for “staged photos” for social media validation.

Omokri’s former wife urged the former presidential aide to become a constant figure in his children’s lives.

She wrote: “Reno Omokri Stop showing up just for photo ops—show up for real life. Our son with special needs is waiting for quality time with his dad, not just the fleeting visits you do with his siblings. You haven’t seen nor spent time with your son since June 2024! Over a year!

“Prioritize meaningful moments over social media validation. Be present, be involved, and be a constant in your children’s lives.

“Real parenting happens in the everyday moments, not just in staged photos.

“Put down the camera!”
