Hours ago, Nosa Rex otherwise known as Baba Rex noted how today would have been his birthday and they would have been celebrating. However, since he hasn’t been laid to rest, he is wishing him a happy birthday.

Also celebrating his posthumous birthday was Rita Edochie who penned a lengthy note to him, noting how she can no longer celebrate his birthday with him physically. She stated that her heart is once more feeling shattered and she is trying to make herself believe that he is no more. Throwing some questions at him, she made it known that she takes solace in knowing that he is watching over them.

It is no longer news that the actor died three weeks back after drowning at Anam River while returning from a movie shoot. The beloved actor alongside 5 others, died from the boat mishap.

Last week, the family of the late actor had released his funeral arrangements, where he would be laid to rest on May 17th, 2024, in his hometown in Enugu state.

Many eagle-eyed fans noticed that on the obituary poster, ‘husband’, was noticeably absent which left tongues wagging as before his demise, Junior Pope was married to Jennifer Awele and they have 3 sons.

Speaking out, his family made it known that the burial poster wasn’t authorized by them and had later corrected it to include his wife.

His death has since left many of his colleagues heartbroken as they flooded their timelines mourning him.

Last week, the executives of the Actors Guild of Nigeria AGN paid a condolence visit to his family family.
