DJ Vlad reacted to Hot 97 pulling the plug on its longtime morning show, Ebro in the Morning.
The media personality went after hosts Ebro Darden and Peter Rosenberg in a series of posts on X.
Vlad suggested the duo had been skating by for years, writing that Hot 97 “kept Ebro and Rosenberg employed for almost 2 decades” even though they were “never the top show in their market” and were “probably unprofitable their last 10 years.”

He also accused them of biting the hand that fed them. “And the day they get let go, the first thing they do is trash the company instead of being appreciative for what the company did for them,” Vlad wrote.
He doubled down by adding that what he called an “ungrateful attitude” is what keeps people stuck as “forever employees.”
Things got even messier when Rosenberg appeared to clap back in a post that was later deleted. Vlad responded with an aggressive message of his own, claiming he never wanted a traditional radio job and boasting about his success. “Never wanted a job, punk,” he wrote. “Unlike you I built my own platform and made 100 times more than you.”
DJ Vlad made Rosenberg delete his tweet
“and to the rest of you…
the nonbelievers, the underachievers, the tweet and deleters…
you guys make me sick to my stomach fam” pic.twitter.com/reSWw7NFAH— Bird (@elbirdleaf) December 15, 2025
Vlad also alleged that Rosenberg’s online bravado did not match their real-life interactions. “It’s funny how you talk s–t to me on social media but the last time I approached you in person the first thing you did was apologize,” he added.
