WATCH THE VIDEO HERE Detroit rapper Sada Baby is behind bars after a traffic stop from back in January led to his arrest this week on a felony drug charge. Sterling Heights Police officers say that early on January 9, they spotted a Dodge Ram with tinted windows. After running the plates, they discovered that the driver had an active warrant. Sada Baby, real name Casada Sorrell, was charged in June 2023 with driving without a license for three years, and a warrant was issued for him in October.
During the stop, police said they found some illegal contraband and sent it off for testing, and the results have just come back, confirming the drugs were it was narcotics. The rapper was taken into custody and is facing a charge for holding less than 25 grams of a controlled substance — narcotics or coke. He pleaded not guilty, and a $5,000 personal bond was set. The rapper is also prohibited from possessing or using controlled substances. Fans are less concerned with the rapper’s charge and way more interested in the “2K24” rapper’s wide-eyed mugshot.
