Ray J is speaking up for his sister Brandy after accusing Beyoncé and Jay Z of giving his sister Brandy the cold shoulder during The Boy Is Mine tour stops.
In a video he posted, Ray J directly addresses the couple and questions why they haven’t made an effort to greet or take photos with Brandy at the shows. He says they’ve attended multiple dates and consistently taken pictures with Monica, but have not shown the same love to his sister.
Ray J insisted Brandy had no idea he was recording the message and would probably be unhappy that he went public, but he felt compelled to defend her anyway.

The comment that he didn’t like them “walking by Brandy’s room” without speaking quickly caught fans’ attention. Ray J says he loves Beyoncé and Jay Z, which he repeats in his caption, making it clear his frustration isn’t coming from a place of animosity but from loyalty to his sister.
He described his post as heartfelt and admitted he would likely face backlash at home for posting it.
There has long been rumors about a personal beef between Brandy and Beyoncé. Back in 2017, Brandy’s former songwriter TC hinted on social media that Brandy didn’t care for Beyoncé, sparking rumors the singer later shut down.
