R&B Singer Jaheim ARRESTED AGAIN … Neighbors Say He’s “Starving His Dogs” On Vegan Diet!
Media Take Out just got word that R&B crooner Jaheim has been arrested again — this time in his home state of New Jersey — and once again, it’s for animal cruelty.
The Latest Arrest
Police say nosy neighbors called them after claiming Jaheim was mistreating his dogs. When authorities arrived, they took the singer into custody. Friends of Jaheim are defending him, saying he’s a strict vegan who believes in feeding himself — and his pets — low-calorie, plant-based meals. But neighbors insist his dogs look malnourished and underfed.
This marks Jaheim’s third arrest on similar charges … and it’s not looking good.
His May 2025 Arrest
Just a few months ago, in May 2025, Jaheim was locked up in Fulton County, Georgia. Police investigated after a tip about a malnourished dog tied to an RV in a shopping center parking lot. When they returned with a search warrant, they found six more dogs inside the RV living in what authorities described as “squalid conditions.”
The arrest affidavit claimed the dogs had no sufficient food, no clean water, poor ventilation, and were surrounded by filth. Some were severely emaciated, and their kennels were filled with urine and feces.
Jaheim was charged with six counts of animal cruelty and released on a $35,000 bond.
The 2021 Case
This isn’t the first time Jaheim’s had animal control at his doorstep. Back in September 2021, he was arrested in New Jersey after police found 15 dogs living in deplorable conditions at his home. Tragically, one of the dogs had to be euthanized.
A Disturbing Pattern
With three arrests in just four years — and now fresh allegations from neighbors — many fans are questioning whether Jaheim’s “vegan dog diet” defense holds water. Critics say pets can’t thrive on human-style vegan plans, while friends argue he’s misunderstood and simply trying to live by his natural lifestyle.
Either way, the R&B singer’s reputation has taken another hit. Once known for hits like Put That Woman First, Jaheim is now becoming better known for his repeated run-ins with animal cruelty charges.
