Real Madrid have stepped into the race to sign Nigeria’s top striker, Victor Osimhen, ahead of the summer transfer window, Footynaija.com reports.

The Spanish giants are looking to strengthen their attack, and Osimhen’s outstanding form this season has caught the eyes of the Spanish giants.

The 26-year-old has been brilliant on loan at Galatasaray, scoring 28 goals and providing 5 assists in just 32 matches across all competitions.

He has played a major role in Galatasaray’s push for trophies, including leading them to the semi-finals of the Turkish Cup after a big win over Fenerbahçe. His sharp performances have kept him on the radar of clubs all over Europe.

According to a report by Legit.ng, Real Madrid see Osimhen as a possible replacement for Vinicius Junior, who is being linked with a big-money move to Saudi Arabia.

The SSuper Eagles player would be Real Madrid’s third option if they were to pursue him, following their preferred targets of Viktor Gyokeres and Ademola Lookman.

Reports suggest that Real Madrid may consider a swap deal that could see Vinicius head out while Osimhen comes in.

However, Madrid are not alone in this chase. Premier League sides like Chelsea and Manchester United are also monitoring Osimhen’s situation very closely.

Juventus have also stepped up their efforts, hoping to lure him back to Serie A. It is believed that Napoli, his parent club, will demand a fee around €71 million for a permanent transfer.

Osimhen has proven his quality not just at club level but also for Nigeria. He scored three goals for the Super Eagles during their World Cup qualifying matches against Rwanda and Zimbabwe.

With interest growing rapidly, this summer promises to be a busy one for the Nigerian forward as top clubs battle for his signature.
